Our commitment
This site is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We test changes against keyboard navigation, screen-reader announcements, and color-contrast requirements before publishing.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML headings, lists, and landmark regions on every page.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators throughout.
- Descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image.
- A "Skip to content" link as the first focusable element.
- Color contrast of 4.5:1 or higher for body text and 3:1 for large text.
- Responsive layouts that work down to 320 px and up to 200% browser zoom.
Known limitations
Some older blog imagery may lack ideal contrast in overlays; we are updating these as we re-photograph our workshop in 2026.
