Frequently asked

Things procurement and HR ask us most.

If you don't see your question here, call the workshop. We're happy to talk through it.

What's your order minimum?
+
Embroidery: 12 pieces per design. Screen printing: 24 pieces per design and color combination. Promotional products vary by item — most sit at 50–100 units.
How long does an order take?
+
Most program orders ship 10–14 business days from artwork approval. Rush production (5 business days) is available for active client accounts.
Do you offer net-30 terms?
+
Yes, after the first program order is paid. Send your AP contact and we'll mail the credit application.
Will you match my existing logo colors?
+
Yes. We pull PMS colors and keep archival thread cards on file so reorders match the original — even three years later.
Can I see a sample before approving?
+
Absolutely. First-time program orders include a free physical sewn sample on the actual garment. Reorders are approved against your archival card.
Do you do rush orders?
+
Yes, for active client accounts. Five-business-day rush carries a 20% rush fee. Three-day rush is occasionally possible — call first.
What garment brands do you carry?
+
Carhartt, Port Authority, Sport-Tek, Nike, Under Armour, Bella+Canvas, Next Level, Richardson, Yupoong, and a dozen others. We'll match the brand to the use case.
Do you ship outside Missouri?
+
Yes. We ship across the lower 48 daily. Our largest single shipment to date went to a client in Phoenix, AZ.
What if a garment fails after a few washes?
+
If a Bookout & Co. embroidery or print fails before normal end-of-life, we replace it. No paperwork. Just send a photo.
Can you handle direct-to-recipient gift shipping?
+
Yes. Send us an address list and we'll pack and ship to each recipient individually with handwritten notes.
Do you do tag printing instead of woven labels?
+
Yes, on most cotton garments. It's the cleaner look most modern brands use.
Can you store our archived files long-term?
+
Yes. Digitized embroidery files and approved screens stay in our archive for the life of the client relationship.
What file format do you need for artwork?
+
Vector (.AI, .EPS, .SVG, .PDF) is best. We can work from high-resolution PNG or JPG, but logo cleanup may add to the timeline.
Are you a certified woman-owned business?
+
Yes. Bookout & Co. is a state-registered woman-owned small business in Missouri.
